For the safety of national examinations, a series of measures have been taken this year. For cheating candidates, they will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the Measures for Handling Violations of Discipline and Regulations in the Civil Service Employment Examination (Trial).
First, the ``Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Written Examination of Civil Servants for the 2015 Examination of Central Authorities and Its Directly-affiliated Institutions'' was issued before the examination, and a special event was held by the civil service authorities and examination organization departments of 31 provinces (regions and cities) across the country. The criminal suspects seized a large number of illegal equipment and shut down a number of illegal websites, effectively purifying the examination environment.
Third, on the day of the examination, the central civil service department selected inspectors to conduct inspections in 46 test sites and cities in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country. The examination departments of all regions are equipped with experienced inspection and invigilation teachers, public security, and radio in the examination room. Management and other departments also sent specialized personnel and equipment to patrol and monitor outside the venue to jointly maintain the order of the examination room. The examination department has also installed ID card identification devices, mobile cell phone jammer, video surveillance and other equipment in the examination room to strengthen preventive measures. On the day of the test, more than 90,000 staff members across the country provided services for the candidates.
Fourth, after the exam is over, the same test paper screening and identification system will be activated to screen, identify and deal with cheating using high-tech equipment. Those deemed to be identical test papers shall be dealt with in accordance with the violation of discipline and regulations, depending on the seriousness of the circumstances, respectively, disqualification from the examination and not being allowed to apply for the civil service examination within 5 years or for life.
For cheating candidates, they will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the Measures for Handling Violations of Discipline and Regulations in the Civil Service Employment Examination (Trial). In the civil servant recruitment examination of the central government and its directly affiliated institutions last year, a total of 330 candidates were dealt with in violation of discipline and regulations. Among them, 233 had invalid results, 93 were not allowed to apply for civil servants within 5 years, and 4 were not allowed to apply for civil servants for life.
