On March 11, a Hunan Communication Technology Co., Ltd. in Changsha High-tech Zone complained that since the beginning of March, the company’s radio communication equipment and mobile network could not be used normally, its company’s substation data transmission could not be transmitted normally, and the company’s customer contacts were restricted. , Which seriously affected normal production and life.
On March 15, the Changsha Municipal Radio Management Department contacted the municipal mobile communication operator to organize the municipal radio monitoring station to investigate its interference and confirm that the interference signal came from another company nearby. It was verified that this company installed 12 mobile phone jammers in the operating workshop to prevent employees from playing and watching mobile phones during working hours and affecting safety production, causing serious interference to surrounding radio communication signals.
Law enforcement officers publicized the laws and regulations of Chu, the principal of this company, pointed out the seriousness of his behavior, ordered him to immediately shut down and remove all mobile phone jammers, and imposed mandatory seizure of 12 mobile phone signal jammers. Currently, the case is being handled in accordance with relevant procedures.
According to Liu Xinmin, the head of the Radio Management Division of the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, no unit or individual may use radio frequencies without authorization, and shall not cause harmful interference to radio services carried out in accordance with the law; if necessary, they should go to the local radio management department for approval and filing. The management of mobile phone signal jammers is very strict, such as government agencies, school examinations, etc., also need to be approved, and they must be used within a controllable range and within a specified time without affecting the normal communication industry.
According to the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Radio Management" that came into effect on December 1, 2016, for unauthorized use of radio frequencies, or unauthorized installation and use of radio stations (stations), the radio management agency shall order corrections and confiscate illegal activities. The equipment and illegal income of the activities may be concurrently imposed a fine of less than 50,000 yuan; if it refuses to make corrections, a fine of more than 50,000 yuan but less than 200,000 yuan shall be imposed; the establishment and use of radio stations (stations) without authorization to engage in fraud and other illegal activities, If it does not constitute a crime, a fine of not less than RMB 200,000 but not more than RMB 500,000 shall be imposed.
